Donnie Ray Porter

Morrison, TN resident and Florence, AL native Donnie Ray Porter, age 68, was born July 29, 1957 and died August 27, 2025 at Unity Medical Center in Manchester, TN following a sudden illness.

A member of the Baptist church, he was the son of the late Jesse Lee and Elah Novella Webster Porter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, James Nathan, Jerry Lee, Jesse Roger, Richard Dwight and Terry Dee Porter.

Donnie is survived by four sisters and brothers-in-law, Johnnie and Audie Wellman and Jo Whiteaker, both of Morrison, TN, Susie Grissom of McMinnville, TN and Faye and Brian Bonner of McCalla, AL and several nieces and nephews.

Per Donnie’s wishes, he will be cremated and inurned at Shady Grove Cemetery in Coffee County, TN. No service or visitation will be held at High’s.
