Doris Elaine Worrell

McMinnville, TN resident and Detroit, MI native Doris Elaine Worrell, age 65, was born August 19, 1956 and died December 9, 2021 at her daughter’s residence in Palmer, TN following an extended illness. A retired communication installer and member of Way of the Cross Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Merle “Pete” and Margaret Bush McBride. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by grandson, Daylan “Scout” Sullivan. Ms. Worrell is survived by two daughters, Brandi Elaine Byars (Dean Noel) of Palmer, TN and Aubrey Megan Worrell of McMinnville, TN; son, David Jonathon Lee (Melissa) Worrell of Mississippi; grandchildren, Jakob Farless, Derrick Gene (Courtney)Sullivan, Jr., Marshal Mason McCormick, Saydee McCormick, Alvie Rango Byars, Aubrey Worrell, Evie Worrell, and Ella Patrick; great-grandchildren, Alice and Waylon Sullivan and Delilah and Skyler Farless; three brothers, Dennis McBride of McMinnville, TN, Kenneth McBride of Knoxville, TN; and Keith McBride of Smyrna, TN; and special friends, Rhonda Brown and Carol Waldrop and many other friends also survive Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 19, 2021 in High’s Chapel.
