Doris Faye Jennings

Rock Island, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Doris Faye Jennings, age 80, was born July 7, 1942 and died August 29, 2022 at Life Care Center of Sparta following an extended illness.           

A retired seamstress from Aquatech, she was the daughter of the late James Wesley and Georgia Mae Merriman Page.  She was married to Monty Jennings of Rock Island, TN. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Hattie Jo Cantrell; brother, Arthur Page and daughter-in-law, Abby Jennings.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Jennings is survived by son, Michael Keith Jennings; sister, Betty Lou Dodson; grandchildren, Brandon Jennings, Shane Jennings, Megan Tucker and Emily Tucker; great-grandchildren, Natalie, Jada, Johnathan, Rose, Eli, Jack, Landon, Mia and Sage; brother-in-law, Clark Jennings; sister-in-law, Joyce Madewell and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Per Mrs. Jennings wishes, she will be cremated. A memorial service will be held at Rock Island State Park at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 25, 2022.
