Doris Geralene "Gerry" Martin

Doris Geralene “Gerry” Martin, age 88, a McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native, was born June 20, 1933 and died November 27, 2021 at Ascension St. Thomas River Park Hospital following an extended illness. She was retired from the family realty company, Sam Martin Realty, the daughter of the late Edward Jackson & Willie Mae Panter Clendenon, and a member of the Westwood Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by brother and sister-in-law, Thomas (Barbara) Clendenon; sister, Wilma Lois Clendenon; sister and brother-in-law, Agnes Lee Clendenon (Joe) Evans and great-granddaughter, Kenley Morton. Mrs. Martin is survived by husband Sam Martin, Jr. of McMinnville; daughter and son-in-law, Kay (Tommy) Foster of McMinnville; sons and daughters-in-law, Ray (Chandra) Martin of McMinnville and Clay (Keri) Martin of McMinnville; grandchildren, Craig (Carla) Foster, Daulton (Aprile) Foster, and Danielle Foster, Chad (Mica) Foster, Robin (Dale) Bell, Samantha and Kaleb Bell, Luke, Lo, Loa Moon and Lok Martin, Lake, Lucia Raine and Ashton Martin, Shea, Keagen, Kade, and Kolton Thompson, Kaci Rhea (Dillon) Morton, Kylie, Kason and Kash Morton. Graveside service and interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Richard O’ Conner, Tommy Foster, and Glenn Mitchell officiating. There will be no visitation at High’s. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Meals on Wheels.
