Earl Haskell McCormick

Rock Island, TN resident and Van Buren County, TN native, Earl Haskell McCormick, age 85, was born February 2, 1937 and died August 7, 2022 at St. Thomas River Park Hospital following a brief illness. A retired farmer and a member of Campaign Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Hosea and Anna Shockley McCormick. He was married to Robbie Jewel Huntley McCormick on September 4, 1959, who preceded him in death on January 16, 2022. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Hozene Copenhaver and Anna Mae Dishman; two brothers, Amos and Remus McCormack; half-brother, Billy McCormack and half-sister, Sarah Bonner. Mr. McCormick is survived by half-sisters, Virginia Hindreck of Bowling Green, KY, Carolyn Williams of Chattanooga, TN, Sally Flatt of McMinnville, TN and Glenda Watson of McMinnville, TN; half-brother, Sonny McCormack and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. McCormick, along with his wife, loved flea markets and buying and selling antiques. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, August 11, 2022 in High’s Chapel with Jason Gann officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Warren County, TN. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at High’s. Online condolences may be made at www.highfuneralhome.com.
