Elijah Richard Poore

McMinnville, TN resident and White County, TN native Elijah Richard Poore, age 84, was born April 29, 1937 and died November 24, 2021 at his residence following an extended illness. A veteran of the United States Army and retired supervisor from Century Electric (Magnetek), he was the son of the late Arthur and Beulah Bice Poore. He was married to Elizabeth Angel Poore of McMinnville, TN on January 20, 1961. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister. In addition to his wife, Mr. Poore is survived by brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Louise Poore of Sparta, TN and the Cassville community and several nieces and nephews. Graveside service and interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 27, 2021 at New Hope Cemetery in the Cassville community of White County, TN. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Saturday at High’s.
