Elizabeth Graves Smartt

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Elizabeth Graves Smartt, age 101, was born July 12, 1920 and died January 15, 2022 at her residence following an extended illness. A homemaker and member of the Smyrna Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Lee Hayes Etter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband Marcus F. C. Smartt and brother Eugene Etter. Mrs. Smartt is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Martha (Donald) Jones of McMinnville; grandchildren, Randy Jones of Lawrenceburg, TN, Beth (Tim) Deason of McMinnville, TN, Kyle (Kristi) Jones of McMinnville, TN, and Andy Jones of McMinnville, TN; eight great-grandchildren; ten great-great-grandchildren; nephew, Carl (Toni) Etter of Marietta, GA and niece Carlene (Wayne) Tenpenny of Jackson, IN. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 19, 2022 in High’s Chapel with Ray Weddington officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. View Cemetery in McMinnville.
