Elizabeth Marie Leggett Atchley

McMinnville resident and Alexander City, AL native Elizabeth Marie Leggett Atchley, age 45, was born February 26, 1978 and died August 21, 2023 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN following a sudden illness.           

A current Pharmacy Tech with Walgreens, former Pharmacy Tech with Stewarts Pharmacy and a member of the Church of Christ, she was the daughter of Leonard Leggett of McMinnville and the late Donna Leggett.  

In addition to her father, Ms. Atchley is survived by daughter, Cassie Atchley of Boston, MA; fiancé, Greg Dodd of McMinnville and special cousin, Christy Cassady of McMinnville. 

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 24, 2023 in High’s Chapel with Brian Carr officiating. Burial will follow at Philadelphia Cemetery in Grundy County, TN. Visitation will be Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at High’s.
