Emma Jean Ervin Poss

McMinnville, TN resident and Dekalb County, TN native Emma Jean Ervin Poss, age 73, was born July 11, 1948 and died May 18, 2022 at her daughter’s residence following an extended illness. A nursery worker and of the non-denominational faith, she was the daughter of the late Robert Allen and Delcie Mae Bain Ervin. She was married to Carl Poss who preceded her in death on November 12, 2014. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Arthur and Paul Ervin; three sisters, Geneva McClenan, Peggy Adamson and Margaret Smith and sister-in-law, Linda Poss. Mrs. Poss is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa (Steve) Stone of Crossville, TN and Kimberly Bouldin (Doan Sullivan) of McMinnville, TN; grandchildren, Laura Rhea, Robert (Stephanie) Williams, Ashley (Jordan) Case and Dustin (Kylie) Priest; great-grandchildren, Bryson Lee Williams, Rylie Case, Chloe Priest, Mackenzie Priest and Michael Buchanan; two sisters and brother-in-law, Janet Lynn Neal of Smithville, TN and Linda and Tony Fults of McMinnville, TN; sister-in-law, Elena Wimbush of Georgia and brother-in-law, Don Poss of Smithville, TN and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
