Erin Karee Nelson

Lover and fighter, Erin Karee’s passion for her family and friends will be remembered long after her passing. Erin passed away on February 14th, 2022 at the age of 58 after she fought the good fight and finished the race with her husband of 40 years by her side. Her memory of living life to its fullest will be honored by all those who were lucky enough to have known her. Mrs. Nelson is preceded in death by parents, Norris Edward and Bobbie Porter Vaughn, Sr. and father-in-law, William Bill Nelson. She is survived by husband, Mark Nelson of Morrison, TN; daughter, Misty Karee (Trey) McBride of Manchester, TN; son, Matthew (Haley) Nelson of McMinnville, TN; grandchildren, Levi McBride, Henli-Kree McBride and Nash Nelson; sisters, Vechere Vaughn (Donald) Lampley of Pleasantview, TN and Vicki Vaughn (Mark) Spung of GA; brothers, Norris (Terry) Vaughn of Mullberry, TN and Richard (Billie) Vaughn of Pulaski, TN; mother-in-law, Linda Nelson of McMinnville, TN; mother-in-law, Pat Nelson of Readyville, TN and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 19, 2022 in High’s Chapel with Chris Keel officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Warren County, TN.
