Ernest Carl Crowe, Jr.

McMinnville resident and Anniston, AL native Ernest Carl Crowe, Jr., age 74, was born November 24, 1948 and died August 18, 2023 at St. Thomas West in Nashville following a sudden illness. A pastor with Faith Missionary Baptist Church and a retired maintenance worker with Warren County School System, he was the son of the late Ernest Carl Crow, Sr. and Inis Lee King Crowe. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by eight brothers and three sisters. Mr. Crowe is survived by his wife of 49 years, Joyce Crowe; children, Lisa (Paul) Wade, Lane (Marty) Mangrum and Brooks (Cindy) Crutchfield, III; grandchildren and spouses, Ward Allen, Jr., Zachary Wade, Jennifer Allen, Brooks Crutchfield, IV and Atlanta Cantrell; eight great-grandchildren; brothers, Phillip (Sharon) Crowe and Ronnie Crowe and several nieces, nephews and cousins. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, August 26, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Faith Missionary Baptist Church located at 111 River Dr. in McMinnville, TN.
