Ethelene G. "Tiny" Durham

McMinnville, TN resident and Valley Head, WV native Ethelene G. “Tiny” Durham, age 97, was born June 11, 1925 and died September 9, 2022 suddenly at NHC Healthcare of McMinnville. A retired clerk from Walmart and a member of Bonner Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Massie and May Lindsay of Valley Head, WV. She was married to James C. Durham on February 18, 1944, who preceded her in death on September 18, 1988. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by daughter, Twana Durham Smith; granddaughter, Christy Durham Hickerson and grandson, Cory Smith. Ms. Durham is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Jim and Theresa Durham and Doug and Emmagene Durham all of McMinnville, TN; son-in-law, Terry Smith; five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, three sisters and four brothers. Graveside service and interment will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 12, 2022 at Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Tim Long officiating. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery, there will be no service or visitation at High Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be to Shriner's Hospital for Children.
