Floyd Michael Freeman

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Floyd Michael Freeman, age 65, was born September 23, 1957 and died December 29, 2022 at St. Thomas River Park Hospital in McMinnville, TN following a sudden illness.           

An employee of Larry Walker Nursery, he was the son of the late Floyd Edward “Bear” Freeman and Mildred Ruth Scott Freeman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Ella Mae Jennings and Katie Lou Freeman; nephews, Jason Edward Freeman and Jeremy Lee Freeman and father-in-law, Glen Taylor.

He was married May 14, 2004 to Emily Freeman of McMinnville, TN. In addition to his wife, Mr. Freeman is survived by daughter, Nancy Ruth Freeman of McMinnville, TN; siblings, Robert (Dorothy) Freeman of Rock Island, TN, Tony Freeman of Manchester, TN, Ricky (Sandra) Freeman of Smithville, TN and Lynn (Judy) Freeman of Rock Island, TN; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; mother-in-law, Betty Taylor; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Nancy and Terry Womack; sister and brother-in-law, Kim and Jerry Muncey; brothers-in-law, Johnny Taylor and Sherman Myers; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Karen and Jason Underwood and best friend, Larry Walker.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 7, 2023 in High’s Chapel with Anthony Campbell officiating. Burial will follow at Shellsford Cemetery in Warren County, TN. Visitation will be Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at High Funeral Home.
