Forrest Eugene Milstead

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County native Forrest Eugene Milstead, age 76, was born February 3, 1945 and died September 16, 2021 at St. Thomas Highlands Hospital in Sparta, TN following an extended illness. United States Army veteran, self-employed nurseryman, and member of the Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Charlie and Gertie Roberts Milstead. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Wilma Powell and brothers, Wayne Milstead and Jimmy Milstead. Mr. Milstead is survived by son and daughter-in-law, David and Pebbles Milstead of McMinnville, TN; daughter and son-in-law, Tonya and Tim Crouch of McMinnville, TN; granddaughter, Baelee Crouch; step-grandchildren, Harley and Logan Martin; special grandchild, Tenerra McCormick; sister, Donna Milstead of McMinnville, TN; brother and sister-in-law, Lonnie and Pat Milstead of McMinnville, TN; sisters-in-law, Kathy Pearsall and June McGee of McMinnville, TN; brothers-in-law, Bobby Taylor and Maurice Powell of McMinnville, TN; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Gene Fults, Poe McGee, June McGee, Carl Adcock, Sewell Barnes, Perry Woodlee, Buford Woodlee, Leonard Keel, Willard Butcher, and Jr. Michaels also survive. Funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, September 19, 2021 in High’s Chapel with Rickey Magness and Donald Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Armstrong Cemetery in Warren County, TN. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday and 9:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. on Sunday at High’s. Full military honors will be administered by American Legion Post 173 and VFW Post 5064. Funeral service will be streamed live via Facebook by Mr. Milstead's family.
