Franklin Delano Paris

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Franklin Delano Paris, age 93, was born February 26, 1933 and died April 1, 2026 at St. Thomas River Park Hospital in McMinnville, TN following a brief illness.

A United States Army veteran of Korea, retired attendance supervisor with Warren County School System and a member of the Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Ernest M. and Clareta Jones Paris. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Ernest L. Paris.

Franklin was married to Edna Paris of McMinnville, TN on March 24, 1972. In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughter, Misty (Alan) Collins of McMinnville, TN; grandchildren, Grant and Leah Collins; sister, Dorcas Paris Shackelford of Madison, TN; three nieces and one nephew.

Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, April 3, 2026 in High’s Chapel with Alan Collins and Jonathan Stubblefield officiating. Burial will follow at Blues Hill Cemetery in Warren County, TN. Visitation will be Friday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at High’s.

Full military honors will be administered by American Legion Post 173 and VFW Post 5064.
