Gary Dean Goodwin

McMinnville resident and Marion County, IN native Gary Dean Goodwin, age 69, was born August 15, 1954 and died January 12, 2024 at Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro, TN following an extended illness. A United States Army veteran and self-employed truck driver, he was the son of the late Carl and Clara Bowden Goodwin. He was married to Christine Goodwin of McMinnville. In addition to his wife, Mr. Goodwin is survived by daughter, Shannon Goodwin (Korey Kilsdonk) of McMinnville; granddaughter, Savannah June Kilsdonk; four brothers, Robert Goodwin and Danny Goodwin, both of Indiana, Randall Goodwin of Texas and Stephen Goodwin of Indiana and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 18, 2024 in High’s Chapel with Robin Hornbuckle officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. View Cemetery in McMinnville. Visitation will be Thursday from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at High’s. Full military honors will be administered by VFW Post 5064 and American Legion Post 173.
