Gary Joe Jones

McMinnville resident and Logansport, IN native Gary Joe Jones, age 66, was born March 7, 1957 and died July 18, 2023 at his residence following an extended illness.           

A self-employed welder, he was the son of the late U.L. and Jo Helen McPeak Jones. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son, T.J. Jones; son-in-law, Brian Reed and brother, Michael Jones. 

He was married to Marilyn Jones of McMinnville, TN on August 13, 1985. In addition to his wife, Mr. Jones is survived by children, U.L. Jones and Chellsie Reed; grandchildren, Marissa (John) Franc Dalton Jones, Chanse Jones (Megan Bailliez) and Carley Jones; sister, Melanie Jones and several nieces and nephews. 

Per Mr. Jones’s wishes, he will be cremated. No service or visitation will be held at High’s.
