Gary Kenneth Bouldin, Sr.

Sparta, TN resident, Gary Kenneth Bouldin, Sr., age 75, was born in Warren County, TN on March 29, 1946 and raised in the Piney community of Van Buren County, TN. He died September 26, 2021 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN following an extended illness. Mr. Bouldin was a veteran of the United States Army who served in Vietnam, was a self-employed truck driver for GKB Farms, and the son of the late Richard Sewell and Helen Louise Johnson Bouldin. He was married to Lori Ann Swah of Sparta, TN. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son, Gary Kenneth Bouldin, Jr.; sister, Glenna Sue O'Dell; and nephew, Richard Kenneth O'Dell. In addition to his wife, Mr. Bouldin is survived by two children, Monty White of North Carolina and Chadra Daniels of Mississippi; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Marlene Lowery of Spencer, TN; two nieces, Kim Bolinger of Spencer, TN and Stephanie and Dustin Sullivan of Rock Island, TN; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and special friend, June Rogers of Spencer, TN also survive. Graveside service and interment will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Shockley Cemetery in Van Buren County, TN with William Shockley officiating. Full military honors will be administered by American Legion Post 173 and VFW Post 5064. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery. There will be no visitation or service at High’s.
