Genay L. Evans Keener

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Genay L. Evans Keener, age 50, was born January 20, 1973 and died March 10, 2023 at her residence following an extended illness.           

A machine operator and member of the Baptist church, she was the daughter of David Brady and Helen Evans Byars, both of McMinnville, TN. She was preceded in death by son, Justin Evans and niece, Zamirah Locke.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Keener is survived by three sons, Derek Keener, Tyler Keener (Justyce) and Kolby Keener; grandchildren, Lakelyn Shena Keener and Kaden Jennings; two sisters, Christy Locke and Trina Watson, both of McMinnville, TN and nephews, Christian Locke and Zaccheaus Locke.

Graveside service and interment will be held at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday March 14, 2023 at Shellsford Cemetery in Warren County, TN. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at High’s.
