George Edward Drake

Mr. George Edward “Buck” Drake, age 55, passed away Thursday November 6, 2025 from a sudden illness. He was born on May 4, 1970 to the late George and Yvonne Dodson Drake. George was the Dairy Manager at Warehouse Discount Grocery in McMinnville, a 1989 graduate of Warren County High School and was of the Christian faith. Buck was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed living at his mountain home.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brother, Dennis Drake; sister, Holly Drake Lawson; paternal grandparents, Bill and Bessie Drake and maternal grandmother, Willie Dodson.

George is survived by his brothers, Dusty (Karen) Drake of Huntsville, AL and Danny Drake of Morrison, TN; several nieces, nephews, extended family and a great host of friends.

George was cremated and a Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 6, 2025 in High's Chapel with Dustin Drake officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at High's.
