Georgia Mae Martin Etter Huggins

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Georgia Mae Martin Etter Huggins, age 96, was born April 1, 1929 and died August 18, 2025 at NHC Healthcare in McMinnville following an extended illness.

A retired plant nurse with the Carrier Corporation and a member of the Baha’i faith, she was the daughter of the late George and Stella Savage Martin. She was married to Ted Louis Etter and Ray Huggins, both whom preceded her in death.  In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by brother, Clarence (Margie) Martin.

Mrs. Huggins is survived by two children, Dr. Gwendolyn Etter-Lewis of West Chester, OH and Dr. Terry Louis Etter of Nashville, TN; grandson, Ariel S. Lewis of Ypsilanti, MI;  niece, Tina Martin and nephew, Clarence Martin and their families.

Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, August 22, 2025 in High’s Chapel with Michael Harris officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Warren County, TN with visitation being Friday from 2:00 p.m. until time of service at High’s. A Baha’i service will be held in High’s Chapel at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
