Gold Star Mother Rhonda Sue Brown

Gold Star Mother, Rhonda Sue Brown, age 67, a McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native was born January 3, 1956 and died September 25, 2023 at her residence following and extended illness. 

A retired inspector with Bridgestone and a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late William “PeeWee” and Lucy Davis Reed. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jeremy Lynn Brown, who was killed in action in Afghanistan in 2010.

Mrs. Brown was married to Mac Brown of McMinnville, TN on January 24, 1978. In addition to her husband, she is survived by son, Chris (Sheri) Brown of McMinnville, TN; two granddaughters, Katelyn Brown and Jessica Brown, both of McMinnville, TN; five siblings, Annette Herrin, Tony Reed and Betty Jo McCormick, all of McMinnville, TN, Shirley Ketchem of Michigan and Barbara Cornelius of Florida and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service and interment will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at Mt. View Cemetery in McMinnville, TN with Phil Jones officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. at High Funeral Home.
