Harold Wayne Simons

Murfreesboro, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Harold Wayne Simons, age 81, was born December 1, 1944 and died November 4, 2026 at Saint Thomas Rutherford following a sudden illness.

A retired service technician with Aramark Corporation, he was the son of the late Harold R. Simons and Mary A. Jordan Simons. He was married to the late Myrna Carole Rowland Simons on February 14, 1981. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by sister, Peggy Koster.

Mr. Simons is survived by children, Chad (Jennifer) Glasener of Manchester, TN and Brent (Lisa) Simons of Woodbury, TN; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two nieces and one nephew.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 6, 2026 in High’s Chapel with Charley Heath, Sr. and Danny Higgins to officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. View Cemetery in McMinnville, TN. Visitation will be Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at High’s.
