Helen Cantrell Burnett

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Helen Cantrell Burnett, age 85, was born July 30, 1937 and died December 17, 2022 at NHC Healthcare of McMinnville, TN following an extended illness.           

A secretary with Custom Granite and a member of Arlington Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Lula Hill Cantrell.  She was married to the late Ronnie Burnett.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Jim; and sisters, Ora Lee, Wilma, Pearline and Linda.

Ms. Burnett is survived by three children, Kevin (Kari) Burnett of McMinnville, TN, Elaine (Chuck) Reish of Morrison, TN and Kirk (Beth) Burnett of McMinnville, TN; grandchildren, Katelyn (Austin) Wortman, Kathryn (Lee) Carden, Kade Burnett, Trevor (Leah) Reish, Tristan (Karagan) Reish, Cy Reish, Dallas Burnett, Jakob Burnett and Jaxon Burnett; great-grandchildren, Eli and Lincoln Wortman, Charli, Bellamy and Judd Reish; two sisters, Evelyn Travis and Thelma Sullens, both of McMinnville, TN and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Monday, December 19, 2022 in High’s Chapel with Justin Reed officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. View Cemetery in McMinnville, TN. Visitation will be Sunday from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Monday from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at High Funeral Home.
