Helen Juanita Curtis

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Helen Juanita Curtis, age 91, was born January 2, 1934 and died September 24, 2025 at her residence following a short illness.

A homemaker, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Irene Fults Lynn. She was married to George Marvin Curtis on September 4, 1948 who preceded her in death on July 10, 2021. In addition to her parents and husband of over 72 years, she was preceded in death by brother, Clark Lynn.

Mrs. Curtis is survived by sons, Jimmy Van Curtis and Randy Marvin Curtis, both of McMinnville, TN; sister, Betty Rogers of Viola, TN and nieces and nephews, Kelly Lynn, Kim Lowe, Lynn Dale Jones, JoAnn Jones and Rita Young.

She enjoyed needlepoint, making hook rugs and quilts, tending her flower beds and large garden, canning and spoiling her stock, guard and support dog, Rex.

Graveside service and interment will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 27, 2025 at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Warren County, TN. No service or visitation will be held at High’s and family and friends will meet at the cemetery.
