Irene Hudson Deberry

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Irene Hudson Deberry, age 95, was born August 8, 1928 and died August 29, 2023 following a short illness.

A retired seamstress with Woodbury Shirt Factory and Formfit Rogers and a member of Unity Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Jess and Mai Ramsey Hudson. She was married to Nolan Rena Deberry on June 15, 1946, who preceded her in death on July 2, 2001. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by sister, Jewell Taylor and four brothers, J.T. Hudson, Gene Hudson, H.C. Hudson and Edd Hudson. 

Mrs. Deberry is survived by daughter, Gewanda (Frank) Bond of McMinnville, TN; granddaughter, Devona (James) Clark of McMinnville, TN; grandson, Chad Bond of Chattanooga, TN; two great-grandsons, Benjamin Clark and Owen Clark; two sisters, Bobbie Powell of McMinnville, TN and Helen (Dick) Harrell of Manchester, TN and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside service and interment will be held at 5:00 p.m. Friday, September 1, 2023 at Unity Cemetery in Warren County, TN with Charles Williams officiating. There will be no service or visitation held at High’s.

Memorial contributions may be made to Meals on Wheels or Relay for Life.
