Jack Allen Hege

Murfreesboro, TN resident and Edinburgh, IN native Jack Allen Hege, age 91, was born October 26, 1930 and died August 7, 2022 at Harmony @ Victory Station in Murfreesboro, TN following an extended illness.            

A United States Army veteran of Korea, retired mechanical engineer from the Carrier Corporation and member of Third Baptist Church, he was the son of the late Frank and Ida Bryant Hege. He was married to Helen Hege of Murfreesboro, TN.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Hege is survived by son, Steve Hege (Cissy Lancaster) of Murfreesboro, TN; two grandsons, Matthew Curtis (Lisa) Hege of Spring Hill, TN and Andrew Allen Hege of Memphis, TN; two great-grandsons, Brady Hege and Conner Hege and brother, Ron (Susie) Hege of Indianapolis, IN.

Mr. Hege was cremated. A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, November 20, 2022 in High's Chapel with Don Dixon officiating. Full military honors will be administered by American Legion Post 173 and VFW Post 5064.
