Jaime Lyn Smoot Ashby

Morrison, TN resident and Warren County native Jaime Lyn Smoot Ashby, age 47, was born May 3, 1976 and died November 26, 2023 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN following an extended illness. A former employee of Perikin and a member of Trousdale Church of Christ, she was the daughter of Jim and JoAnn Smoot of Morrison, TN. She was preceded in death by niece, Katelyn Smith. In addition to her parents, Jaime is survived by daughters, Lauryn Ashby and Ella Ashby, both of Morrison, TN; sister, Amy (Neal) Smith of McMinnville; brother, Tim Smoot of Morrison, TN; grandmother, Aradell Jones of McMinnville; niece, Hannah (Parker) Hildreth of Lebanon, TN; nephews, Caleb Smith of McMinnville and J.T. Smoot of Morrison, TN and best friend, Candice King. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 29, 2023 in High’s Chapel with Alan Northcutt officiating. Burial will follow at Trousdale Cemetery in Warren County, TN. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at High’s.
