James Cowan Evans

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native James Cowan Evans, age 60, was born December 12, 1961 and died March 17, 2022 at St. Thomas River Park Hospital following an extended illness. A retired construction worker and member of Madison Street Baptist Church, he was the son of the late Larry Isaac and Shirley Ann Baker Evans. Mr. Evans is survived by son, James Evans, Jr. of McMinnville, TN; sister and brother-in-law, Kari and Chuck Cantrell of McMinnville, TN; brothers and sisters-in-law, Alan and Angie Evans and David and Missie Evans, both of McMinnville, TN; friend and caregiver, Sheree Evans and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Evans will be cremated. There will be no visitation or service at High’s. Graveside inurnment and Memorial service will be held Friday, March 25, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. at Mt.
