James Edwin Tittsworth

Warren County, TN resident and native James Edwin Tittsworth, age 84, was born August 27, 1939 and passed away March 25, 2024 at his residence. A retired bus driver and member of Smyrna Church of Christ, he was the son of the late William Fredrick and Paralee Morgan Tittsworth. He was married November 21, 1958 to Dorothy Lee Scott Tittsworth who preceded him in death. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by grandson, Marcus Tittsworth. Mr. Tittsworth is survived by children, Angela (Tim) Whitman, Donna Tittsworth and Richard T Worth (Kelly) aka Rickie; grandchildren, Michele (Coy) Tyson, Anastasia (Chris) McCormick, Erin Worth, Brandon Worth and Timmy Diamond; great-grandchildren, Austin May, Colton May, Hunter May, Christopher Brock, Blaine Brock, Riley Desmarasis, Kaden Desmarasis, Caleigh Tyson, CJ Tyson and Mack Tyson; brothers, Anthony (Judy) Tittsworth, Danny Tittsworth and Julius (Elaine) Tittsworth and sister, Emley Byrd. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 30, 2024 in High’s Chapel with Rickey Magness and Jon Simmons to officiate. Interment will follow at Smyrna Cemetery in Warren County, TN. Visitation will be Friday from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m until the time of service at High’s. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Smyrna Cemetery or Meals on Wheels. Online condolences may be made at High Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
