James "Jim" Martin Jacobus

McMinnville, TN resident and Bridgeport, CT native James “Jim” Martin Jacobus, age 68, was born October 23, 1954 and died suddenly August 27, 2023. 

An employee for thirty years with Nebraska Water Department and twelve years with Peoria, AZ School District Water Department, he attended First Baptist Church of McMinnville and was the son of the late Charles Leslie and Janice Craft Jacobus.

Mr. Jacobus was married to Hope Jacobus of McMinnville, TN on December 6, 2008. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Nathan Jacobus of Nebraska and Jay Jacobus of St. Thomas, VI; two sisters, Sandy Wilkins of Phoenix, AZ and Nancy Simmons of Tuscon, AZ and four granddaughters.

Per Mr. Jacobus’ wishes he will be cremated. There will be no service or visitation at High Funeral Home.
