James Phillip Caldwell

McMinnville, TN resident and Milwaukee, WI native James Phillip Caldwell, age 61, was born June 11, 1961 and died suddenly January 30, 2023 at Ascension St. Thomas DeKalb Hospital in Dekalb County, TN.           

An assembly worker for Star Manufacturer, he was the son of the late, Eugene and Willie Ruth Elliott Caldwell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, David, Terry and Ernie Caldwell.

Mr. Caldwell is survived by brothers, Ronnie Caldwell of McMinnville, TN, Donnie (Claudia) Caldwell of the Centertown Community, Joe (Sheila) Caldwell and Jeff Caldwell, both of McMinnville, TN; sisters and brother-in-law, Joan (Frank) Booth of Crossville, TN and Carolyn (Steven) Bernhardt of McMinnville, TN; aunts and uncles, Dewey (Doris) Elliott; Rock Island, TN, Larry (Jackie) Eliott and Ruby (Osburn) Huntley, both of McMinnville, TN, Ellen Grissom of Florida and Bobby Hash of Texas; nieces and nephews,  Laurie (Billy) DeLong, Stephanie (Phillip) Schepis, Carly (Todd) Ratley,  Julie (Ryan) Jagoda, Jesse Caldwell, Joseph (Akayla) Booth and Sabrina Caldwell; step-nephew, Hunter Bernhardt; great-nieces and great-nephews, Tim DeLong, Ashley Rarick, Connor Bruce, Cora Bruce, Anna Jagoda, Kenzie Bruce, Ethan Schepis, Jason Jagoda, Abigail Jagoda, Savannah Schepis, Olivia Booth, Connor Jagoda and James Booth and great-great-niece, Praylie King.

Graveside service and interment will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 3, 2023 at Mt. View Cemetery in McMinnville, TN with Todd Ratley officiating. No visitation will be held at High’s.
