Morrison, TN resident and Smithville, TN native James Gerald Underwood, age 53, was born March 11, 1971 and passed away June 2, 2024 at his residence surrounded by his family.
A member of Trousdale Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Jerry and Francis Estes Underwood. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by mother-in-law, Joyce Northcutt.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Northcutt Underwood of Morrison; daughter, Ashley Underwood of Morrison; brother and sister-in-law, Terry and Kim Underwood of Morrison; sister, Jennifer Underwood of Centertown; father-in-law, William Northcutt of Morrison; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, David and Vickie Northcutt of Morrison; special friend, Jeff Prater of Centertown and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 5, 2024 with Alan Northcutt and Eugene Wilkerson to officiate. Interment will follow in Trousdale Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at High's.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to assist the family with funeral expenses.
