Jami Lynn Galaz

McMinnville, TN resident and Los Angeles, CA native Jami Lynn Galaz, age 66, was born July 9, 1960, and died September 4, 2026, at Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro, TN following an extended illness. She was a supervisor with McCormick’s Cleaning Service and the daughter of the late Jim and Frankie Passmore Arnett.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, David Poindexter.

Ms. Galaz is survived by her children, Jimmy (Ashley) Russell of McMinnville, TN, David Galaz of McMinnville, TN, John Russell of McMinnville, TN and Cody Russell of McMinnville, TN; grandchildren, Jimmy Russell, Sofia Galaz, Josie Galaz, Lili Hall, Lori Hall, Cody Hall, Ayden West, Christopher West, Kayden Northcutt, Hazel Northcutt, Tylynn Northcutt and Axle Northcutt; and a host of brothers and sisters.

Per her wishes, Ms. Galaz will be cremated.
