Jason Lamar Reece

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Jason Lamar Reece, age 49, was born December 27, 1973 and died February 27, 2023 at St. Thomas River Park Hospital in McMinnville following an extended illness.           

An iron worker with Rod Buster, he was the son of Loretta Reece of McMinnville, TN and the late Jackie Robinson.  In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by grandmother, Inez Kathrine Reece.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Reece is survived by six children, Treyton Lamar Reece of McMinnville, TN, Chasity Inez Reece of Texas, Jackie James Reece of Florida, Kaiya Marie Reece of Montana, Kaleb Reece of Florida and Dazzni Hope Reece of McMinnville, TN; granddaughter, Isla Inez Reece of McMinnville, TN; three sisters, Demetrius Rena Starks of South Carolina, Lori Manier of McMinnville, TN and Iris Gant of Shelbyville, TN; two brothers, Jeffery Marshall Starks of Florida and Lebron Robinson of Murfreesboro, TN; special aunt, Eva Robinson of McMinnville, TN; several aunts, uncles and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins and many brothers and sisters not by blood, but by love.

Mr. Reece will be cremated. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 4, 2023 in High’s Chapel with Eugene Wilkerson officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until time of service at High’s.
