J.D. Hash

J.D. Hash, age 80, a Rock Island, TN resident and Warren County, TN native was born January 19, 1941 and died March 23, 2021 at NHC Healthcare in Smithville following an extended illness. He was a farmer and the son of the late Ralph and Vera Teeters Hash. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife Jennie Marie Coppinger Hash; brother, Kendall Hash; and sisters, Sarah Tindell and Marilyn Cope. Mr. Hash is survived by son, James E. Hash of Rock Island, TN; daughter, Jennie Stiles of Rock Island; three grandchildren, Kayla Hash of McMinnville, TN, Christopher (Melinda) Stiles of McMinnville, TN, and Emily (Duane) Wynn of Crossville, TN; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Pam Houser of Maryville, TN, and Patricia Watts of McMinnville, TN; and special friend, Beverly Meeks. Funeral service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friday, March 26, 2021 in High’s Chapel with Steve Breedlove officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery in Rock Island. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at High’s.
