Jennetta Iola Hollis

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Jennetta Iola Hollis, age 84, was born May 23, 1941 and died August 31, 2025 at Manchester Health and Rehab following an extended illness.

A homemaker and member of the Philadelphia Church, she was the daughter of the late Jessie Lee and Ollie Mae Killian Rogers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James William “Bill” Hollis and sister and brother-in-law, Nadine and Hershel Hillis.

Mrs. Hollis is survived by children, Nick (Melissa) Hollis of McMinnville, Jamie (Beverly) Hollis of Milton, TN, and Conethia Cantrell of McMinnville; grandchildren, Hillari Hale (Jeff Jones), Jonathan (Angel) Hollis, Haley (Tyler) Glenn, Erin (Casey) Taylor and Madison Hollis; nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Graveside service and interment will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, September 1, 2025 at Philadelphia Cemetery in Grundy County with Barry Whitaker officiating. The family will receive visitors from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Monday at High’s.
