Jerry Barrett McGee

Citronelle, AL resident and Warren County, TN native Jerry Barrett McGee, age 78, was born June 1, 1945 and died March 6, 2024.

A retired nurseryman, he was the son of the late Lowell and Delma Hale McGee. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Barbara Corun.

Mr. McGee was married on July 10, 2004 to Mary Leigh Walker McGee of Citronelle, AL who survives. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Monica Brewer of McMinnville and Angela (Tim) Basso of St. Petersburg, FL; step-children, Blake (Amy) Patterson, Dena Youngblood and Tony (Devynn) Walker; grandchildren, Christopher Chapman, Benjamin Chapman, Kiegan Basso, Vinny Basso, Tyler (Amber) Clark, Trey (Julie) Clark, Livia (Holden) Carter, Cade and Cooper Patterson and Hunter and Emily Bouldin; several great-grandchildren; sister, Bette (Roosevelt) Fults of McMinnville; nephews, Darrell and Harold Austin and nieces, Carol Clark and Lori Judkins.

Graveside service and interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 8, 2024 in Laurel Creek Cemetery with Blake Patterson to officiate. Visitation will be Friday from 11:00 am until 1:00 p.m. at High’s.
