Jessie Willard Barnes, Jr.

Murfreesboro, TN resident and Dallas, TX native, Jessie Willard Barnes, Jr., age 63, was born November 5, 1959 and died November 20, 2022 at his residence following an extended illness.           

A self-employed car salesman and a United States Army veteran of the Vietnam Era, he was the son of Dorothy Barnes of Spencer, TN and the late Jessie Willard Barned, Sr. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by, brothers, Dale, Steve and Terry Barnes and sister, Polly Andrews.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Barnes is survived by his sister, Marion Victoria Lance of Spencer, TN; son, Kevin Wayne (Kayla) Barnes of Sarasota, FL; step-daughter, Christen (Rico) Warner-Simmons of Murfreesboro, TN and three grandchildren.

Per Mr. Barnes wishes, he will be cremated. No service or visitation will be held at High Funeral Home.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
