Joan Elizabeth Hollis

Doyle, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Joan Elizabeth Hollis, age 74, was born September 18, 1947 and died August 18, 2022 at her residence following a sudden illness. A retired produce associate from Kroger and former Newtown Foodland employee, she was the daughter of the late Fred M. and Zada Bell Bouldin Sain. She was married to Arthur Jerry Hollis on September 25, 1965 who preceded her in death. Ms. Hollis is survived by children, Paula Hollis Morris of McMinnville, TN, Tony (Amanda) Hollis of Manchester, TN, Andy (Katera) Hollis of Dunlap, TN and Amy (Michael Joe Jr. “Sport”) Hollis Wanamaker of McMinnville, TN; brother, Danny (Nadine) Sain of McMinnville, TN; sister, Judy Chambers Sain of Murfreesboro, TN; grandchildren, Casey Morris (Chris) O'Neal, Corey Morris, Matthew (Miranda) Hollis, Drew Hollis, Tyler Hollis, Kristy Navarrete (Alex) Ayala, Kevin Navarrete, Johnny Chadwick Wanamaker and Carrie (Tyrus) Wanamaker Keel and great-grandchildren, Emersyn O'Neal, Jadon Day, Bentley Hollis, Adriana Ayala, Isabella Ayala and Hickory Keel. Per Ms. Hollis’ wishes, she will be cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date. No service or visitation will be held at High’s.
