John Mark Upchurch

John Mark Upchurch, age 44, a McMinnville, TN resident and Arlington, TX native, was born January 15, 1977 and died October 17, 2021 at Ascension St. Thomas West in Nashville following a short illness. He was a teacher at the Warren County High School, and the owner of Highland Rim Crossfit. Mr. Upchurch is survived by child, G Upchurch of Virginia; mother, Pat Harrah of Alabama; father and stepmother, Charles & Lanette Upchurch of Texas; eight siblings, Cliff Upchurch, Randy Upchurch, Brian Upchurch, Mark French all of Texas, Sheila Upchurch of Alaska, Carla Upchurch, Tammy Truelove, and Kim and Donald Springer all of Texas; and nephews, Justin & Jeremy Springer. Several other nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews also survive. John’s last WOD service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Highland Rim Crossfit with Adam Rush and Ryle Chastain officiating. A workout in his honor will held at a later date.
