McMinnville, TN resident and Reynosa, Mexico native Jose Alberto Portillo, age 58, was born September 12, 1965 and died April 29, 2024 at his residence.
An employee of Smithport Cabinetry and member of the Baptist Church, he was the son of the late Manuel Portillo and Maria Pena. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Mr. Portillo was married July 11, 1986 to Olga Martinez of McMinnville who survives. In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters, Jessica (Andres) Hernandez and Karen (Murry) Heraud both of McMinnville; son, Marcos Portillo of McMinnville and six grandchildren.
Graveside service and interment will be held at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, May 2, 2024 at Mt. View Cemetery in McMinnville, TN with Ruben Bazaldua to officiate. Visitation will be Thursday from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at High's.
