Joyce Ann Hillis Bond

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Joyce Ann Hillis Bond, age 71, was born May 26, 1951 and died August 22, 2022 at her residence following an extended illness. A retired employee from Oster and member of Word of Life Ministries, she was the daughter of the late Martin and Elmer Savage Hillis. She was married to Bobby Bond of McMinnville, TN on April 9, 1988. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Joe Hillis and Jerry Hillis and sister, Jerlene Hillis. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Bond is survived by son, David Byars of McMinnville, TN; daughter, Connie Byars of Smithville, TN; step-daughter, Amanda Lucille Rosa of Burlington, NC; grandchildren, Hannah Pease, Tiffany Pease, Cody Byars, Rango Byars and Lindsey Byars; brother, Don Hillis of McMinnville, TN; sisters, Pearline Baker and Elizabeth Adcock, both of McMinnville, TN and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 24, 2022 in High’s Chapel with Jeff Vandagriff officiating. Burial will follow at Providence Cemetery in Warren County, TN. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at High’s.
