Juan Carlos Mendez Garcia

McMinnville, TN resident and Ft. Worth, TX native Juan Carlos Mendez Garcia, age 29, was born February 18, 1992 and died suddenly June 6, 2021 at his home. A member of the Baptist church, he was the son of Rebecca Morales of McMinnville, TN, and the late Juan Luis Garcia. He was married to Katherine Garcia on February 1, 2016. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by great-grandmother, Adella “Big Grandma” Herrera. In addition to his wife and mother, Mr. Garcia is survived by daughter, Valanea Garcia of McMinnville, TN; step-father, Fredy Morales of McMinnville, TN; siblings, Jessica Garcia of Ft. Worth, TX, Albert (Stephanie) Mendez of Watauga, TX, Daniel Garcia of Mansfield, TX, Luis (Dasia) Garcia of Burleson, TX, and Felicia Garcia (Rodrigo Martinez) of McMinnville, TN; nephews and nieces, Jose, Rosalinda, Yuri, Litzy, Itzel, Addison, Elizabeth, Lucas, Johnathan, and Joshua; and many more family members and friends also survive. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 11, 2021 in High’s Chapel. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday and 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. on Friday at High’s.
