Juanita Bowdoin

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Juanita Bowdoin, age 96, was born February 21, 1927 and died April 23, 2023 at NHC Healthcare of McMinnville following an extended illness.           

A former employee of Magnetek and member of the Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Milford Presley and Novella Ponder Richardson. She was married to Julius “J.J.” Bowdoin, Jr. who preceded her in death on June 15, 2007. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by daughter, Linda Gail Watts; brother, James Richardson; sister, Joyce Franklin and daughter-in-law, Kathy Bowdoin.

Mrs. Bowdoin is survived by sons, Danny Bowdoin and Greg (Denise) Bowdoin, both of McMinnville, TN; grandchildren, Corey, Amber, Brittany (Hunter) Wallace, Danielle and Kayla; several great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Harold Watts of McMinnville, TN and sister, Eva Fay (Earl) Kimura of Jefferson, GA.

Graveside service and interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at Spring Hill Cemetery in White County, TN with Jim Ramsey officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at High’s.
