Judith Louise Carter

McMinnville, TN resident and Tulia, TX native Judith Louise Carter, age 58, was born June 15, 1964 and died July 6, 2022 at her residence following an extended illness. A homemaker and member of Pearls of Christ Church, she was the daughter of Jim R. Nunley, Sr. of McMinnville, TN and the late Jerry Louise Spencer. She was married to Harold Carter of the Harrison Ferry community on August 19, 1994. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by daughter, Brittney Michelle Atherton. In addition to her husband and father, Mrs. Carter is survived by son, Buddy James Hampton of McMinnville, TN; step-children, Chris (Shannan) Carter and Joshua Carter both of McMinnville, TN and Devin Carter of New Mexico, TN; sister, Cheryl Nunley of McMinnville, TN; brother, Jim R. (Julie) Nunley, Jr. of Michigan; granddaughter, Lydia Atherton; step-grandchildren, Alisa Carter, Thomas Carter, Wesley Carter, Elijah Carter, Braxton Carter, Laydron Carter, Gabriel Carter and Emma Carter and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews also survive. Graveside service and interment will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, July 7, 2022 at Hebron Cemetery in Warren County, TN with Anthony Wanamaker and Travis Wanamaker officiating.
