Beersheba Springs, TN resident and McMinnville native Judy Mai Smith, age 69, was born March 10, 1956 and died May 5, 2025 at Southern Tennessee Regional Health in Sewanee following a sudden illness.

Mrs. Smith was a retired employee of Double K Nursery and of the Christian faith. She was the daughter of the late Corbet and Charlene Fults King. On September 27, 1979 she was married to Ken Smith who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Smith is survived by son, Glen (Tracy) Jennings of Beersheba Springs, TN; step-children, Kenny Ray (Alex) Smith of Illinois, Amy Smith of Illinois and Shane Smith of Beersheba Springs, TN; grandchildren, Jonathan Jennings, Christopher Jennings, Samantha and DJ; five great-grandchildren; brother, Kenny (Lorie) King of Beersheba Springs, TN; sisters, Anna (Dave) Hobbs and Bettie (Ralph) Rhea both of Altamont, TN and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 10, 2025 in High’s Chapel with Gary Hobbs officiating. Burial will follow at Hunerwadel Cemetery in Grundy County, TN. Visitation will be Friday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at High’s.
