Kathrine "Kathy" Annette King

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Kathrine “Kathy” Annette King, age 64, was born April 8, 1958 and died June 25, 2022 at St. Thomas Midtown Hospital following a sudden illness. Mrs. King was co-owner of O.K. Heating and Air and of the Christian faith. She was the daughter of Frances Hale of McMinnville, TN and the late Harvel Hale. She was married to Mark King on August 29, 1980. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by daughters, Haley and Hannah King; brothers, Ronnie and Wayne Hale; sister, Liz Hale and son-in-law, Scott Parkhurst In addition to her husband and mother, Mrs. King is survived by children, Chris (Michelle) Arnold of McMinnville, Jennifer Parkhurst of McMinnville and Michelle (Ed) Fults of Beersheba Springs, TN; special grandson, Gavin King of McMinnville; grandchildren, Cody Parkhurst, Wesley (Sera) Parkhurst, Katelyn Fults, Graecy Arnold, Ty Arnold, Lily Smith and Dylan Smith; great-grandchildren, Kennedy and Kylee Layne, Declan and Adler Parkhurst and Hazel and Henry Parkhurst; sister, Joy Davis of McMinnville; brothers, Sam Hale and Mike Hale both of McMinnville and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 28, 2022 in High’s Chapel with Scotty Lawson officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Warren County, TN. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at High’s. Memorial donations may be made to Saint Jude Children's Hospital.
