Kay Francis Woodard

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Kay Francis Woodard, age 89, was born May 22, 1934 and died January 19, 2024 at NHC Healthcare in McMinnville of an extended illness. A housekeeper and member of East End Drive Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late John and Ada Belle Settles Woodard. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, John Edward Woodard, Paul Allen Woodard and Roach Woodard; sisters, Etta Mae Ozier, Katherine Woodard and Emma Jean Woods; brothers-in-law, James Woods, Sr. and James Ozier and sisters-in-law, Irene Woodard, Margaret Woodard and Fanny Woodard. Miss Woodard is survived by brother, Charles Henry Woodard of Gary, IN and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, January 27, 2024 in High’s Chapel with Phillip Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Warren County, TN. Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at High Funeral Home. Repast will be held after the burial in the fellowship hall of East End Drive Church of Christ.
