Kelly Austin Ross

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Kelly Austin Ross, age 70, was born August 27, 1955 and died October 30, 2025 at his residence following an extended illness.

A Vietnam veteran of the United States Marine Corps, former maintenance supervisor at National Sheet Metal and of the Baptist faith, he was the son of the late Wesley Ross and Shirley Ware.

He was married to Tammie Lee Ross of McMinnville, TN on August 1, 1997. In addition to his wife, Mr. Ross is survived by son, Luke (Amber) Ross of McMinnville, TN; step-children, Norman McBride, Hollie Cope and John Lewis, all of McMinnville, TN; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers, Johnny Ross of Baxter, TN and Joe Ross and Kenneth Ware, both of McMinnville, TN; sister, Jackie Ware of McMinnville, TN; mother-in-law, Nell Pennington of Morrison, TN and sisters-in-law, Debra Vidrine of Louisiana and Sharon (Tim) Whitmire of Tullahoma, TN.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 2, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at High’s. Full military honors will be administered by American Legion Post 173 and VFW Post 5064 immediately following visitation at 3:00 p.m. Per his wishes, Mr. Ross will be cremated following the visitation.
